Day 1

Departure

Depart from on a regular non stop flight to London. Dinner and Breakfast will be served aloft. There will be a choice of movies.

Day 2

London

You will be greeted by your tour manager as you exit the Customs area and transferred to the Great Eastern Hotel in central London. There will be time to rest or to start exploring this fascinating city. This evening dinner at the Hotels Aurora restaurant hailed as "the most popular rendez-vous in the City".

Day 3

London

Panoramic sightseeing introduces London this morning: Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park, St. Paul's Cathedral. Our morning will conclude with a ride high over the city on the London Eye. The afternoon is free to do your own exploring, London has many gay ventures, you may wish to spend the night at G.A.Y or Heaven the world's largest disco.

Day 4

Brighton

A late morning start, we travel via the pastures of Romney Marsh to arrive in ancient Rye, where we will look at the quaint cobbled Mermaid Street. The old town of Rye is partly surrounded by its medieval walls, with twisty-winding roads lined with charming cottages, craft shops, and potteries. We'll stop for lunch at the Mermaid Inn, a notorious smuggler's haunt in the 18th century. We continue to the gay resort of Brighton and the New Europe Hotel for a two night stay.

Day 5

Brighton

Historic, beautiful Brighton, is a unique mix of city chic and laid back seaside fun. Brighton has elegant Regency terraces and a lively stylish beachfront, fabulous shopping and great gay nightlife. Visit King George IV's Royal Pavilion a fantasy Indian palace with an exotic interior, explore the shops, bars and city cafes of the sophisticated Lanes and the Bohemian North Lanes for antiques and designer clothes. Don't miss all the delights of the traditional English seaside on the Victorian pier, fish and chips, carousels, cotton candy and clairvoyants.

Day 6

Salisbury

We continue along England's south coast, we visit imposing Arundel Castle which was build in the 11th century and set in magnificent grounds, our next stop the cathedral city of Chichester with it's medieval walls , a city old when the Romans arrived, here we stop for lunch before we arrive in Portsmouth. We visit HMS Victory, Lord Nelson's flagship at the battle of Trafalgar, we also view Henry VIII's flagship, the Mary Rose. We finish our day with our drive to Salisbury for a quiet evening and dinner.

Day 7

Stonehenge

We spend the morning in Salisbury to view the finest medieval Cathedral, and take a guided tour of the cathedral's many treasures, including the Magna Carta, we'll explore the medieval streets before continuing to Stonehenge, one of the world's great mysteries. We continue with a drive through pretty villages of the Chilterns were we stop for afternoon tea, before our early evening arrival in graceful and timeless Oxford, the city of dreaming spires. Dinner on your own this evening.

Day 8

Oxford

Oxford is a city that no visitor forgets, the college quadrangles and gardens, halls and chapels, the beautiful Shelonain Theatre built by Sir. Christopher Wren, visit Oxford cathedral the smallest in England, Oxford is a lively city, enjoy a guided walk or a stroll in the Botanic Garden, or wander through the old world covered market or browse in the Marvellous bookstores, such as Blackwell's should not be missed. Our two nights stay at at the luxury 5 star Randolph Hotel. The evening is one your own, Oxford has many cosmopolitan restaurants and historic pubs.

Day 9

The Countryside

Today we explore the beautiful landscape and unspoiled villages of the Cotswolds, we visit the historic market towns of Chipping Norton, Witney and Burford, noted for its antique shops, we'll visit the pretty town of Woodstock, home to magnificent Blenheim Palace, England's largest country house and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, we return to London for our final evening.

Day 10

Departure

Sadly this morning our wonderful tour comes to an end, as we pack our memories for our departure to London airport and our return flights home, arriving back in the USA the same afternoon.
