Cape Town is the liberal gay capital city of South Africa and is our introduction to a diverse country. We explore the highlights of Cape Town and admire the views from Table Top Mountain, before sampling the best wines surrounded by vineyards with new friends. Flying up to the Mpumalanga region, we admire the top sights on offer from the Blyde River Canyon, waterfalls, and road side shopping before the Kruger National Park with the opportunity to see animals in the wild!

Day 1 - Saturday, March 10, 2012
• Upon arrival into Cape Town, we will be met by our Yellow Brick Road Tours' guide and transferred to our hotel for check in (check in at 14h00). If you arrive early morning, we can arrange for luggage storage in advance. • There will be a letter waiting for you at reception with advice on what to do should you want to go exploring by yourself. • We will have a welcome meeting at 18:00 where we cover the tour ahead of us and get to know each other. • Tonight, we head out for a welcome dinner down at the waterfront.
Day 2 - Sunday, March 11, 2012
• This morning, we enjoy a half day tour which includes a visit to Table Mountain (cable way ticket included), then descend and visit Bo Kaap, Langa (the oldest formal township), Gugulethu township, watch crafters at work, and visit Khayelitsha, the largest informal settlement (shacks). Visit a 'shebeen' (tavern), meet and interact with the local community. • Return to either your hotel or if you prefer, be dropped at the waterfront and enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure. • Optional activities on offer (optional and not included in tour costing):

Day 3 - Monday, March 12, 2012
• Check out of the hotel and transfer to the beautiful Cape Winelands. • This area really is a stunning part of the world and what better way to enjoy it than a half day tour in this region which includes one cellar tour & wine tasting at a beautiful vineyard estate followed by a historic walk around Stellenbosch, the 'City of Oaks'. • We return to the winelands for an evening dinner in a wonderful setting. Who said romance was dead?
Day 4 - Tuesday, March 13, 2012
• We transfer back to Cape Town for our flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. • We then transfer to the Nkambeni Luxury Tented Lodge late afternoon for check in and included dinner at the Lodge. • This will be our base for your memorable and exhilarating introduction to the top animals in the world, in the wild. Each room has amazing bush views. • We have a wonderful half day game drive into the Kruger NP for our chance to see the first viewing of animals in the wild. • This is a wonderdcul day and one you will remember forever!
Day 5 - Wednesday, March 14, 2012
• Enjoy a guided full day Kruger National Park Tour. • Return to the lodge late afternoon for dinner and overnight. • The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, SANParks - Kruger National Park is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies.
• Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Man's interaction with the Lowveld environment over many centuries - from bushman rock paintings to majestic archaeological sites like Masorini and Thulamela - is very evident in the Kruger National Park. These treasures represent the cultures, persons and events that played a role in the history of the Kruger National Park and are conserved along with the park's natural assets.
Day 6 - Thursday, March 15, 2012
• Enjoy a half day at leisure where you can relax and view the animals in their natural habitat - the wild. Or go on game drives. • There are a wide range of optional activities on offer which you are best to pre-book to avoid missing out:

Day 7 - Friday, March 16, 2012
• We have the morning at leisure before our transfer, with driver only, from Nkambeni Tented Lodge to Hoedspruit Airport. • Upon arrival to Johannesburg, we will transfer to our hotel. • This is our last night in South Africa and tonight we head out for an evening meal to reflect on the new experiences and new friends. • You also eat in Carnivore Restaurant and try your chops at eating game meat, a famous restaurant in Johannesburg. • Tonight, we head out to the gay scene in Johannesburg to sample some of the fine beers and wines, plus have a boogie.
Day 8 - Saturday, March 17, 2012
• This morning, our tour ends, we transfer you back to the airport for your flight back home with a bag full of memories. • If you want to extend your trip and have time on the beach or back at the safari camp, we will be happy to assist.
