It's all very well holidaying in the centre of your chosen holiday resort, but there are times when you might prefer to be a bit further away from all the action, in high quality surroundings without breaking the bank.
That’s where the Sunway Playa Golf comes in.
First off, let's give you a few pointers as to its location. If you know the area (and even of you don't) it's to the far left of the town if you're standing with your back to the sea. That means it's more or less next door to the Hotel Terramar. Incidentally, while we understand you might prefer this more remote location, we appreciate that there will be times when you want easy access into town. This is no problem as there's a groovy little train which runs right along the front from outside the Terramar to the end of the prom. This service runs four or five times an hour up until nine o'clock at night, so if you need transport after that time you'll have to get a cab (cost approximately €4.00). That said, in the name of good customer service we set off in thirty-five degree heat to time the walk and managed it in about twenty minutes, and it was actually a rather pleasant stroll.
Because you're staying in an aparthotel, your accommodation is fully equipped for self catering while the property itself boasts all the facilities you'd expect from a hotel. These include two swimming pools (sunbeds provided free), a buffet restaurant, a lovely terrace bar with fabulous views out to sea, an indoor piano bar and an excellent bistro serving international dishes as well as traditional Catalan cuisine. There's a handy supermarket on site so you don't have to mince too far to stock up on all the basics.
As you can see, there are three different classifications of accommodation. These are fairly self explanatory (standard studios, larger superior studios and very impressive one bedroom apartments with a double sofabed in the large living room) but facilities common to all include a kitchen (cooking rings, microwave, ample utensils, fridge/freezer, washing machine) and a full bathroom with a wicked power shower. Every studio and apartment has a good sized furnished balcony, satellite TV, air conditioning and wonderful sea views. Maid service takes place five times a week, and this includes linen change and the replacement of your scuzzy towels.
