Located about five minutes from the seafront and a ten minute walk into town, the 116 room Antemare comprises a traditional older building and five modern annexes. Two swimming pools ensure that you can slip a length in whenever you fancy it and there's a large indoor bar, a poolside bar, a spacious, comfortable lounge and an attractive restaurant, which is where you'll eat your brekkie if you can be bothered to get out of bed in time.
The Antemare is ideal for those who want peaceful days without being too far from the town's vibrant nightlife.
This is an exceptionally popular hotel with our customers and we recommend that you book early, especially for the high season months.
The hotel offers some excellent facilities including two swimming pools.
There is a restaurant and bar (which along with the reception area have just been refurbished) as well as beautiful gardens where you can enjoy a relaxing drink.
The Antemare also boasts an excellent health club and beauty centre where a small charge for some treatments may be applicable. These can be paid locally.
Every air conditioned room is spacious and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom, a balcony, a television and a safety deposit box for rent. Maid service takes place every day and, although most rooms are twins, early bookers requesting a double might strike it lucky, although these double rooms are in frighteningly short supply. Singletons receive a twin room for sole use.
