Situated in the peaceful little resort of San Stefanos and only about 150 metres from the gorgeous beach, the A-class Princess of Mykonos has a loyal gay following, especially among laid back couples looking for peace and relaxation in tip-top surroundings, and all just a short cab or bus ride from Mykonos Town.
You can see from the photographs on this page that the design of the Princess is second to none, blending classical Cycladic architecture with more modern design elements, and this attention to detail is reflected throughout the whole property. All package holidays rooms have a sea view and air conditioning, with an ensuite bathroom, a mini bar, a phone and satellite TV. Double beds are available but, as ever, it's these cuddle-friendly rooms which tend to sell out first. However, if your sex life isn't much to write home about, twin rooms (ie two single beds) are also available. Either way, room service is available so if you can't be bothered to move, at least you won't starve!
The hotel's general facilities include a bright, welcoming reception area with a rather stylish gift shop and a bar. Safety deposit boxes are available free of charge and there's also a gym, which is one of the largest in Mykonos. There's a superb Italian à la carte restaurant to tempt even the most sophisticated palate, while breakfast, which is included in the price of your holiday and includes fruit juices, croissants and cereals, is buffet style and can be taken in the hotel's delightful courtyard.
The views from the Princess' pool area really can't be bettered, and it's pretty hard to compete with the feeling of well being brought about by sipping a cocktail from the pool bar while idly watching the sun glinting off the crystal clear Aegean Sea.
