FreshHotel (ex.Marios) located right in the town centre, the FreshHotel is what's known as a 'boutique hotel'. It's small (just 13 rooms), thoughtfully decorated with an impressive attention to detail, and provides the holidaymaker with a stylish yet economical base. Take a look at the pictures on this page and you'll see that a great deal of thought has gone into the hotel's pleasing décor.
Every room - and you can choose between twin beds or a double - is air conditioned with an ensuite bathroom, a fridge and a television. Some rooms have balconies, and you'll notice from our price list that these rooms come in at a small supplement. It probably goes without saying, although we're going to say it anyway, that balcony rooms are the first to sell out. Especially popular with singles, all guests going solo receive a twin or double for their own use, and there's no problem whatsoever taking people home with you if that's the kind of bag you're into.
Because of the Fresh' handy town centre location, there's no room for a swimming pool. However, this lack of a pool is compensated for by a fantastic, state-of-the-art American Jacuzzi which does all sorts of strange hydromassagey things to your body with its sensuous little bubbles. You'll find the Jacuzzi in the hotel's gardens, which themselves are bright, well-kept and perfect for chilling out with your fellow Marios guests. You can also choose to have breakfast out in the gardens but, if you'd prefer to eat inside, the dining room is comfortable and - for the size of hotel -surprisingly spacious. Breakfast is served right up until one o'clock in the afternoon, which should be fine for all but the most committed sleepyheads.
The staff here at the Fresh, in common with most Myconians, are extremely welcoming and friendly, as well as being efficient and attentive. They'll provide you with beach towels as and when you need them and point you in the right direction if you need to know anything at all about the island. Maid service is daily, with three-times-a-week towel change and twice-a-week bedlinen change.
