Space IbizaAll of the islands main gay and gay friendly Parties are held at SPACE. Home Of La Troya (more below), GORGEOUS and MATINEE, so there is little point in bothering to troll off anywhere else.

You do have to experience Space at least once, it is quite amazing, and has become an international institution. If for nothing else go just to see how far you can go, and still be convinced that you look and smell great.

Some of the best 'carry on' parties are also held here, so if you do spend a night in AMNESIA or PRIVILEGE, you may still end up in SPACE....

The venue was recently rebuilt, it is massive and a bit of a maze for the first timers, when it is busy there is a ONE WAY system in operation so it could take you Space Ibizaover an hour to get back to where you set off from if you do go to the toilet as you may need to get through one packed dace floor to get to another. The best value for money drink in he place are the small bottles of CaVa (9 Euros), and the best place to drink it is on the roof terrace.

Space in Ibiza is the only place where you are guaranteed a better morning after, than the night before.

SPACE is in Playa Den Bossa, very handy for those staying in Figueretes/Ibiza Town.

HOME OF LA TROYA

Home of La Troya IbizaWednesday Night Thursday Morning.

Web Site

Having been bubbling away quite nicely for a number of years, La Troya erupt onto the mainstream Ibiza club scene, where it now has the deserved reputation for being the best night out on the island.

Formed a few years ago as a terrace attraction at Privilege, La Troya really came into it's own when Brasilio de Oliveira, packed his bags and took himself, DJ Oliver, La Troya, and the entire CoCoLoCo bar crew and concept, down the road to Amnesia. This lasted five or so years, and then in 2006, all the bags were re-packed and La Troya, now known as HOME OF LA TROYA, moved to SPACE.

Space IbizaOne of the few clubs worth paying to get into, particularly as DJ Oliver plays his own unique brand of percussive Latin beats well into the late hours of the Thursday morning, HOLT is about as Spanish a gay experience as you could hope to get. It's always been popular with the locals, not just the gay ones, and last year made it to the UK, with its first appearance at Heaven, and a second at the Renaissance Rooms.

The move to SPACE has seen Home Of LaTroya become on of the most successful independent nights on the island (i.e. it does not share the club with anyone else).

Home of La Troya IbizaIf you are planning to go to Home Of La Troya, ask at the bars if they have any passes. Bars J.J., Teatro, Soap and the DOME do particularly well for free arm band passes and always do their best to look after regular visitors. Things get kicking after 3am, but don't worry if you are not there bfore 4am as things rearly get going with Baby Marcelo and his live performance.

Possibly that Space is the only night club in Spain licensed to open in the day. Most clubbers visit as an extension of the previous night, or an extended weekend, which saves on wasting valuable holiday time sleeping and having to get ready for another night out.

Never be tempted to get up at 8am and go to SPACE as a first stop. The experience could be quite disturbing...
