The Valpariso apartments are for the budget traveler. The modern Valparaiso apartments are located a couple of minutes' walk from Playa del Ingles beach and about a five minute stroll from the Yumbo Centre. There are 44 apartments in total, and each and every one of them was refurbished in late 2003, so they're in pretty good nick, with modern tropical-style furnishings.
All of the apartments accommodate up to a maximum of three people. Each apartment is made up of a twin bedroom (actually, there are some doubles but these are on request and you'll have to get in quick!), a sitting room with a sofabed for your hired help, a recently modernised kitchenette (fridge/freezer, loads of exciting utensils, toaster, coffee machine, ceramic hob) an ensuite bathroom and a far larger than average balcony/terrace. There's also a safety deposit box, a telly and a fan in every apartment.
There's a fab cocktail bar by the large swimming pool, which unusually but gratifyingly is heated during the Winter months (erm, that's the pool, not the bar.) The generously proportioned sunbathing area is equipped with complimentary sunbeds, and it's here in the gardens that you're bound to stumble across the Jacuzzi. Now there's a nice little extra we just know you're going to enjoy! Mind you, if you tire of the gardens you can always take the lift up to the roof where you can soak up the sun on the huge rooftop terrace and take in the fabulous views over the town to the mountains or out to sea.
There's a full reception service here at the Valparaiso offering complimentary internet access and a bureau de change and, if you're at all interested (we know we are), cleaning takes place five days a week, your towels are changed twice a week and your bedlinen is replaced once.
