Just 15 minutes walk from the Yumbo Centre; Beach Boys Resort is located in Maspalomas and is the only gay complex on the island that is open to men only.
It has been recently refurbished, and all units are simple yet comfortable, all offering excellent value for money.
You'll find many cafes, shops and a supermarket nearby at the Faro II shopping complex, and its superbly positioned for the 'gay' dunes and beaches of Maspalomas.
Beach Boys Resort is a clothing optional resort. The resort has a decent size pool which was completely re-tiled in 2002 with the surrounding terrace provides ample space for sunbathing.
There is a poolside bar where breakfast and light meals are served as well as your favourite cocktail. It's a great place to sit and chat with new-found friends and discuss the previous night's antics or make plans for the evening ahead.
If you need advice about where to go, a recommendation for a bar or a suggestion for a day trip, Beach Boys staff are on hand to help, so feel free.
As we've said, all 21 bungalows in the complex have been completely refurbished and re-styled to a good standard.
The lounge areas all have satellite TV and a built-in stereo system, offering a selection of music channels.
The kitchenettes are all new and offer a refrigerator with small freezer compartment, a kettle, coffee maker and a toaster. A two-ring electric hob is ideal for preparing light snacks and there is a good supply of kitchen utensils, crockery & cutlery.
All units are equipped with an iron and ironing board.
The new bathrooms feature large showers with glass enclosures. Good lighting, a shaving mirror and a hairdryer mean that there's no excuse for you not to look your best! Note – no more bath tubs!
The bedrooms are twin-bedded and all have a double wardrobe. There are electronic safes in every room. A small charge is payable locally for their use.
There is a table with chairs on your private terrace so that you can sit out and chat with your neighbours.
Maid service 5 times a week with towels and bed linen changed twice a week.
