Overview

As experienced travelers will attest, a cruise is one of the best ways to enjoy the incomparable scenery of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. We’re very excited to once again offer this itinerary that includes scenic cruising and stops in rich historical and cultural centers along the Alaskan coast. Bring your camera, your drawing pad, your binoculars.

Atrium
World time, ship's time, planets and constellations are all tracked by the Astrolabe clock tower that is the centerpiece of the ms Amsterdam's soaring atrium. Complete with gargoyles and godesses, this is a mystical masterpiece indeed.

Queen's Lounge
Dazzling and daring, the Queen's Lounge is the ultimate show venue with semi-circular seating and brilliant pink and blue décor. Music, theatre, dance, comedy and culture all come to life on its illustrious stage.

Fitness Center
Work out on the high seas in a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with machines, free weights, cardio equipment and a personal training consultant. Afterwards, re-hydrate yourself at the juice bar. On offer are carrot, apple, pineapple or vegetable blends -- good-for-you nectar of the gods!

Greenhouse Treatment Room
Spaaaaaaah! Let yourself be pampered in the restful atmosphere of the Greenhouse Spa and Salon. New thermal suites, steam rooms, organic treatments and gentle hands banish stress and fatigue, leaving you relaxed and energized.

Pinnacle Grill
Guests who dine at the intimate, reservations-only Pinnacle Grill enjoy a dining experience themed to reflect the Pacific Northwest. Candlelight and fine décor create a romantic ambiance that sets the stage for fresh Northwest dishes and select wines.

Neptune Lounge
At your service is the Neptune Lounge's Concierge, exclusively available to Penthouse and Deluxe Verandah Suite guests. Relax here over breakfast pastries with your favorite newspaper, or gather for evening hors d'oeuvres and cocktails in this timeless, genteel setting.

Lido Pool
Warm days with light, salty breezes are made for lounging poolside with an icy beverage in one hand and an epic novel in the other. Does this count as doing something or doing nothing? You'll soon know...

Wine Tasting Room
Whether you're learning to navigate your way through a winelist or enhancing your already vast knowledge of vintages and labels, visit the Wine Tasting Room for a fun, informative session with the ship's expert sommelier.

La Fontaine Dining Room
Elegance redefined under a flower-bedecked stained-glass ceiling -- the La Fontaine Dining Room offers award-winning dining at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Aromatic soups, seasonal fish and succulent meats, crisp salads and divine desserts grace a fresh, imaginitive menu.

Explorer's Lounge
Rich reds and gleaming brass -- these are the essential ingredients for the understated elegance of the Explorer's Lounge. This meeting place for friends old and new offers intimate seating for small gatherings.

Activities
The list of activities available on our Big Ship vacations could keep you going 24 hours a day. The variety is sure to please, we've got something for everybody. And if you're concerned you might get a little claustrophobic with so many people and so much to do, you can rest assured knowing these Big Ships have plenty of space to get away from it all and enjoy some down time.

Check back to learn more about the activities available aboard this very special cruise. We'll add additional detail as it becomes available.
