Join us in the newly-renovated, all-inclusive Ixtapa Pacific resort for the second annual Olivia Indie Fest! By day, Olivia will host an emerging artist concert series showcasing some of the hottest independent artists around, including Melissa Ferrick! By night, you'll get your dose of Olivia favorites like Karen Williams! And we're just getting started!
Your Experience
With its Grand Opening in December 2007, the stunning Ixtapa Pacific offers a $20 million upgrade that includes beautifully refurbished rooms, four resort-exclusive restaurants, and a luxurious new spa.  Melissa Ferrick
Melissa Ferrick has the kind of relationship with her audience that few artists are blessed with. Her live performance is fierce and funny, outspoken and vulnerable, passionate and real. The emotional honesty of Ferrick's first-person lyrics, the force of her vocal delivery and the disciplined fury of her musicianship connects her to her audience with confidence and grace. She's been gaining fans since her first release at age 22 on Atlantic Records. Her next three recordings were released by indie label What Are Records. In 2000, Melissa launched her own label: Right On Records. Her 2006 release In the Eyes of Strangers marked the label's sixth release.

Karen showcased her newest solo show, "The Dating Queen," in Provincetown, and continues with this act through 2007. Performing to packed houses, this hilarious spin on the jetset life of a comic queen and dating feminista is wildly funny and entertaining.
