February 23March 5, 2014
Oceania Cruises Regatta
Atlantis returns to South America in style with a completely original cruise that takes you from Buenos Aires to Rio on the luxurious five-star Oceania Regatta. In 10 unforgettable nights you'll explore the hottest cities in the region, culminating in a three-day stay in Rio for the finale of Carnival. It's an unbeatable itinerary on a truly spectacular ship, for just 684 very fortunate Atlantis guests.
Three Countries. Endless Possibilities.
Our journey begins in Buenos Aires, one of the most exciting cities in the world and South America's most gay-friendly destination. Spend a day on the playful beaches of Punta del Este in Uraguay, one of the world's hottest scenes. Discover the cowboy culture of southern Brazil in Rio Grande. After a relaxing day at sea, explore fascinating Portobelo, with excursions to awe-inspiring Florianopolis. The UNESCO heritage town of Parati beckons next with it's pristine beachfront and colorful buildings in one of the world's most spectacular bays. Powder white sand beaches and striking dunes are framed by windmills and a dramatic landscape in Cabo Frio.
Finally, Atlantis arrives into Rio on Sunday of Carnival week where our ship becomes your home base for the world's most famous celebration. We'll be docked right in the heart of the city, creating the perfect base to explore and enjoy all that Carnival and Rio has to offer from the only floating hotel in the city. Ours. Details on Carnival ticket packages (at an extra cost) will be available in mid August.
Your Kind of Show
When you do finally return to Regatta after a day of exploring, Atlantis presents a wide range of dazzling entertainment throughout our ship. Talented comedians, singers, and cabaret performers all star in the intimate showroom, with an unmatched variety of options.
We'll redefine revelry with our unique deck T-dances and evening parties, featuring leading U.S. and Brazilian DJ talent, plus a few local surprises. A variety of live musical acts await you throughout the ship, and there's an exciting casino inviting you to test your luck.
This unique cruise is available to only 684 very fortunate Atlantis guests with a sense of adventure and desire to experience the best that South America has to offer. Join us today as Atlantis returns to South America for the first time in 7 years!
A World of True Luxury
Sleek, elegantly charming, Regatta is the Flagship of the Oceania Cruises fleet. Her decks are resplendent in the finest teak, custom stone and tile work and her lounges, suites and staterooms boast luxurious, neo-classical furnishings, Regatta offers every luxury you expect. Four unique, open seating restaurants, a world class fitness center and spa, 8 lounges and bars, casino and 342 lavish suites and luxurious staterooms, nearly 70% of which feature private verandas. And with just 684 guests to pamper, Oceania's 400 professionally trained European staff ensures you will want for nothing.
The Finest Cuisine at Sea
It may seem like an audacious statement to hail Oceania's cuisine as "the finest at sea," but not when the legendary master chef Jacques Pépin serves as Executive Culinary Director. With his genius for inspiration and culinary wizardry for guidance, immensely talented chefs masterfully create cuisine that earns rave reviews, course after delectable course. You'll find this excellence in five delicious restaurants throughout the ship.
Exceedingly stately and dignified, the Grand Dining Room exudes a warm, convivial ambiance. This is luxury on a grand scale, but approachably so. The handsome decor captures the spirit and splendor of a European, 5-star restaurant. Our specialty Italian restaurant, Toscana, focuses on simplicity and keenly balanced flavors of Tuscan cuisine, firmly rooted in family traditions. Many of the recipes used to create the authentic Tuscan dishes in Toscana have been handed down from generation to generation, coming to us from Oceania's own Italian culinary staff.
Thoroughly classic in every sense, the intimate Polo Grill embodies a certain timelessness long associated with the world's finest steakhouses. A triumph of elegance, the restaurant possesses a gracious, traditional atmosphere, courtesy of its crisp, white linen tablecloths, dark-wood furnishings and supple, high-back leather chairs.
For a more casual, but equally sumptuous meal, visit the Terrace Café for an ever-changing breakfast and lunch buffet in a light-filled, informal restaurant. You may dine indoors or outdoors since the Café opens onto both the teak-lined pool deck or aft onto the Terrace, where the tantalizing sea breeze is sure to stir your appetite. And Waves offers a great poolside alternative for a quick bite.
Of course with all Atlantis cruises you can dine whenever you wish, with whomever you choose with no dress code. And it's all completely included, of course.
Canyon Ranch SpaClub & Fitness Center
Discover a legendary spa experience aboard Regatta. Award-winning Canyon Ranch – with its family of destination health resorts, hotel, wellness communities and SpaClub facilities – has been the acknowledged world leader in healthy living expertise, and a haven of luxury, comfort and warmth for 30 years. Enhance your voyage with indulgent services and exercise classes that promote resilience, restore serenity and leave you feeling fantastic. And the full-service fitness center offers plenty of options to keep you in shape.
Refresh and Relax Your Way
Of course, Regatta offers plenty of exciting diversions for every taste. Take a dip in the large heated pool or three whirlpool spas. Relax on the beautiful teak pool deck with plenty of space for sunning and conversation. Check out a good book or DVD from the onboard library, or relax with friends in the card room.
Take in one of Atlantis' signature shows in the showroom. Try your luck in the Casino. And there's plenty of places to meet friends old and new in Regatta's many bars and lounges.
Five Star Service
What truly sets the Regatta apart, however, is the exquisite attention to your needs that their friendly staff provides throughout your cruise. With 400 staff onboard to pamper only 684 guests, you can be assured that your every whim will be taken care of with highly personalized service. Oceania's sense warmth and intimacy resembles that of a private country club – casual, yet elegant.

Buenos Aires, Argentina Discover this elegant city and its beautiful surroundings with a tranquil cruise through the Tigre Delta past islands, mansions and English gardens. Visit the pampas and watch gauchos display their extraordinary horsemanship, or enjoy a fabulous tango show in its birthplace.
Punta del Este, Uruguay Spend the day enjoying this beautiful, chic beach resort, its marinas and interesting shops. See amazing works by Dali, Chagall and Miro at the Ralli Museum. Or venture into the equally stunning countryside and visit a cattle station.
Rio Grande, Brazil Explore this lovely old Portuguese city, its gracious squares and beautiful churches. Visit the Museum of Sacred Art and the fascinating oceanographic museum. Or see the vast pampas and feel the gaucho life on a local estancia.
Porto Belo, Brazil Perched on a lovely peninsula in southern Brazil, Porto Belo is revered for its beaches, most especially Bombas and Bombinhas, which share a beautiful emerald-green bay. In fact, the area is called the "Emerald Coast." Diving and snorkeling are spectacular in the nearby Marine Reserve of Arvoredo because warm and cooler waters meet here, attracting an incredible diversity of marine life.
Parati, Brazil Savor this gem of a historic town with its beautifully preserved Portuguese colonial architecture, charming narrow streets, imposing fort and exquisite churches. Enjoy a leisurely schooner cruise through this group of lush islands past quaint fishing villages and pristine beaches. Stop at a beach to swim, snorkel or just relax.
Cabo Frio, Brazil Cabo Frio got its name – "Cold Cape" – from the low temperature of the sea water there. A unique submarine current brings cold water up from the South Pole to the coast nearby. But the cold water is more than compensated for by the beautiful scenery in this unique beach resort. The beaches have fine white sand shaped into striking dunes. And the picturesque windmills used in salt production stand out in stark contrast to the bright blue of the sea and sky.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Enjoy a scenic cable car ride to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain for its renowned view. Ride the cog railway through dense forest to Corcovado. Visit the lush botanical gardens, see famed Ipanema and Copacabana beaches and take in a thrilling samba show.
