In 2012, Atlantis returns to the largest cruise ship ever built: the spectacular Allure of the Seas. We promise a completely new experience in every way, with a fresh take on the gay cruise. We're following the biggest celebration in our history with a brand new and completely reinvented gay cruise on the largest ship in the world. Nearly 5500 gay and lesbian guests from around the world will sail the largest ship ever built, creating a community of truly epic proportions. We'll sail from sunny Ft. Lauderdale to Cozumel, Costa Maya, and our own private island for an unforgettable week of entertainment, parties, camaraderie, and pure magic.

Forget everything you know about cruising. Once you set foot on the Allure of the Seas you'll enter into a world of technical marvel and boundless human spirit. Play in seven distinctive neighborhoods, including Central Park and the Boardwalk. In so many ways, the Allure is such a destination that you might forget that we're visiting some of the most popular beaches in the Caribbean. Between our spectacular days at sea you'll have time to relax on the beautiful and sophisticated beaches of Labadee, Costa Maya, and Cozumel.
Entertainment Redefined.
Allure features more incomparable spaces for entertainment than any ship every built. Throughout the ship we'll present the top gay and lesbian comics, singers, cabaret stars, and original acts that have defined Atlantis over the years, plus a few surprises. The mood will literally be a round-the-clock festival of entertainment, with something for absolutely every taste.
The venues are simply amazing. Start with the massive Broadway-style theater, featuring a full production of the musical "Chicago" along with two of the largest shows ever designed for a cruise ship. This will also be our home for our larger main stage shows. But that's just the beginning.
Studio B features a world-class ice-skating show and will be converted to a concert venue to showcase our musical acts. Boleros is perfect for enjoying live latin and salsa music with a cold Mojito. Rising stars and superstars will keep you laughing at our intimate comedy club. And there's nothing like the massive AquaTheater where a superlative water show and high-diving spectacle awaits you under the stars.
So, how will we handle the crowds with all this spectacular entertainment? Easy. The main theater holds around 1500 guests and Atlantis will run at least 3 or 4 showing of every major show to accommodate all of you. On any night, you'll find incredible shows throughout the ship in the theater, Studio B, and AquaTheater. The Allure has a ticketing system to allow you to reserve your space effortlessly so you will always be guaranteed a seat. You'll just have to plan a little...

And Do We Have a Party.
Over the past 20 years, Atlantis has produced some 3000 or so party events, in venues ranging from a shack hanging over the Caribbean to sprawling cruise ship decks. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly welcoming environment for everyone with musical styles that range from campy to cutting edge. Our DJs are the leaders our community and our productions are simply over-the-top technically with sound, lighting, and lasers to keep you entertained well into the night.
The Allure offers us some of the most original venues we've ever conceived, perfect to present a wide range of events for every musical taste.
The outdoor Solarium provides a perfect setting for our outrageous evening theme parties, with four elevated wood dance floors and a massive open space for dancing. All surrounded by the latest technology.
Late night and cutting-edge music can be found in Studio B, featuring spectacular lasers and an insane light show. We'll serve up several evenings of dance classics in Dazzles, or alternative music in Blaze. And no Atlantis cruise would be complete without our sensational outdoor t-dances, set in our best location ever in the Aqua Theater!

Exciting Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas
Allure of the Seas is the sister to the groundbreaking Oasis of the Seas, first sailing in December 2010. She's the largest ship ever built, at 220,000 tons and carrying over 5500 gay and lesbian guests from around the world. Our cruise will truly be a community of epic proportions. Answers to Common Questions
Our cruise onboard Allure will be very different from past Atlantis cruises, with more entertainment and more diversity than anything we've ever created in the past. Here are a few answers to the questions we keep hearing:
How will we fit everyone in the Theater?
Simply put, we won't. The main theater holds around 1500 guests and we'll run at least 3 or 4 showing of every major show to accommodate all guests. There will be multiple shows running at any given moment in the theater, Studio B, and the AquaTheater. The Allure has a ticketing system to allow you to reserve your space effortlessly so you will always be guaranteed a seat. It's a great system and works really, really well!
Where will the deck parties be held? More great news! The Solarium at the front of the ship is one of the most perfect spaces for a party we've ever seen. Most of our parties will be held in that space, and a few indoor events will be in Studio B. The best part about the Solarium is that there are no staterooms below it (it's the kids center), so we don't anticipate any issues with noise.
We will hold t-dances in the AquaTheater, but these would only be during the late afternoon. We are not planning any outdoor parties at night in either the Boardwalk or AquaTheater spaces at this time due to noise concerns.
Can everyone fit into a single party? There is no space on the ship that can hold 6000 people. However, most of our parties don't have "everyone" at them at the same time. We're carefully designing the schedule to create lots of opportunities and options for everyone.
What's the AquaTheater? It's the most amazing space you've ever seen on a ship, composed of a massive water stage and pool surrounded by high-diving platforms. The Aqua Show was produced by the team that created "O" in Las Vegas and will amaze you. We'll also use the space for a concert show. Many guests in Boardwalk rooms have fantastic balcony views of the shows!
Will there be a Headliner? We're still putting our entertainment plan together for the Allure and will probably not use a single "big name" as we've done in the past. It's simple logistics, and since we'd require 4 performances this is not likely to be feasible. That said, there is a full Broadway production onboard, the Aqua Show, and a flying show that is truly the largest show ever built on a ship. We'll likely bring two or three amazing acts, plus a cadre of Atlantis favorites to celebrate our anniversary.
Why would I want a Central Park View? Well, Central Park is one of the most beautiful spaces ever created on a ship with lush landscaping and subtle lighting at night. Depending on your taste, a view into the park is a welcome, mostly wind-free way to truly enjoy a balcony view at night. There's always something to see, versus looking out into the darkness in the Ocean. Ultimately, it's personal taste, but our team loved these rooms on our site visit.
Is the Boardwalk Noisy? Once you close your stateroom door, you truly cannot hear the Boardwalk. We tested this out!
Why is this cruise more expensive than other Atlantis cruises? Royal Caribbean spent $1.6 billion on building this ship... They have to get it back somehow! All kidding aside, it's the newest, most advance, and most spectacular ship ever built. That's going to command a premium and our costs are a lot higher than our other cruises. Even so, our fares are still roughly the same as we charged for the Freedom of the Seas back in 2007. We think it's still a great value for the grandest experience we've ever created!
Fort Lauderdale, Florida Once the epicenter of spring break, today Ft. Lauderdale is a year-round destination where culture and cuisine are in ample supply. Beautiful beaches, sunshine, coastline, nightclubs and superb restaurants await you in this Gold Coast enclave. Enjoy the restaurants and shopping on Las Olas Boulevard, and explore the revitalized Himmarshee area in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. You're also only a quick airboat ride from the Everglades, one of the most unique ecosystems in the world.

Costa Maya, Mexico Costa Maya, once a trading post for the Mayan Empire, is best known for its jungles, beaches, lagoons and Mayan ruins. Recent development and modern port facilities are making Costa Maya the perfect port of call. With so many activities, it will be hard to decide what to do first - Experience the ancient Mayan City of Chacchoben, soak up the famous Mayan sun at Uvero Beach, take an exciting ride on a ATV or Mini Rhino through the jungle, or go snorkeling to see parrot, butterfly and angelfish.
Cozumel, Mexico The Conquistadors first saw Mexico from the shores of Cozumel while searching for gold. Today, visitors to the island continue to seek out gold and silver jewelry in the shops of San Miguel while having a great time in its many local bars and restaurants. Plus, the waters around Cozumel's sheltered coral reefs make this one of the best snorkeling areas in the world. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Tulum, majestically perched above the turquoise Caribbean.

Allure features more incomparable spaces for entertainment than any ship every built. Throughout the ship we'll present the top gay and lesbian comics, singers, cabaret stars, and original acts that have defined Atlantis over the years, plus a few surprises. The mood will literally be a round-the-clock festival of entertainment, with something for absolutely every taste. 
Studio B features a world-class ice-skating show and will be converted to a concert venue to showcase our musical acts. Boleros is perfect for enjoying live latin and salsa music with a cold Mojito. Rising stars and superstars will keep you laughing at our intimate comedy club. And there's nothing like the massive AquaTheater where a superlative water show and high-diving spectacle awaits you under the stars.
Over the past 20 years, Atlantis has produced some 3000 or so party events, in venues ranging from a shack hanging over the Caribbean to sprawling cruise ship decks. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly welcoming environment for everyone with musical styles that range from campy to cutting edge. Our DJs are the leaders our community and our productions are simply over-the-top technically with sound, lighting, and lasers to keep you entertained well into the night.
The outdoor Solarium provides a perfect setting for our outrageous evening theme parties, with four elevated wood dance floors and a massive open space for dancing. All surrounded by the latest technology.
