Caribbean Luxury Gay Cruise Itinerary
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands - December 6, 2014
St. Thomas is a water lover's paradise. It is largely mountainous. Many roads around the island offer terrific panoramic views of the island and ocean. The capital and largest city in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It has two ports of call for cruise vessels, Havensight and Crown Bay. SeaDream yachts are almost always docked at Crown Bay which is very close to the airport. In the event the yachts call to the island as a port of call rather than an embarkation point, you will find the yacht anchored in the bay and tendering downtown. The island has loads of history, beautiful beaches a fantastic golf course and incredible shopping options. Embarkation is at 2:00 PM.
Cruz Bay, St. John, US Virgin Islands - December 7, 2014
St. John's vibrant main town and port, Cruz Bay is home to most of the 28-square-mile island's restaurants, bars, stores and dive centers. Two-thirds of affluent St. John is a national park, and many safari buses and jeeps set out from Cruz Bay. Two-thirds of St. John Island has been dedicated as a national park and is the most virgin of the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is blessed with many beautiful beaches and bays, fine anchorages and verdant hills. Enjoy the day with snorkeling trip to Trunk Bay with its underwater guided trail, or join our kayaking land adventure. Ask your Club Director for a guided hike to Caneel Bay stopping at beautiful Honeymoon Beach for a quite swim. Rental Cars are available should you want to explore on your own or you could borrow a SeaDream Mountain Bike for independent exploration.
Sandy Ground, Anguilla, British West Indies - December 8, 2014
Anguilla is one of the most northerly of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles. It consists of the main island of Anguilla itself, together with a number of much smaller islands and cays with no permanent population. Sandy Ground is the main port of Anguilla, with a long curved white sand beach, backed by high cliffs. This British Overseas Territory is becoming more popular due to the incredible resort options as well as world recognized beaches and incredible golf. SeaDream offers an opportunity to tee off, swim with dolphins or for the energetic, bike around the island with the Captain or Club Director. Naturally we will also offer water sports while we are anchored off Sandy Ground.
Gustavia, St. Barts, French West Indies - December 8, December 9, 2014
The jewel of the Leeward Islands, St. Barts is a favorite watering hole for the "beautiful people" who come for the small elegant hotels, the protected yacht harbor, the beaches and of course the friendly French locals. No casinos or mega resorts, no golf or all-inclusives just an abundance of un-crowded beaches, breathtaking vistas and a fabulous array of restaurants & designer boutiques. Perhaps our most treasured destination in the Caribbean! This small island belonging to the French West Indies has so much to offer our SeaDream guests. Incredible shopping only steps away from pier. Incredible beaches, resorts, restaurants and activities both day and night. SeaDream has created various land adventures for you to discover the island from sea or land. Ask one of the officers to take you on a hike or bike ride around the island. Another great activity here is to simply relax and watch all of the incredible yachts arriving and departing just off your SeaDream yacht.
North Sound, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands - December 10, 2014
Virgin Gorda is one of the most unique and pristine islands in the Caribbean. An unusual geologic formation known as "The Baths" located on the southern end of the island makes Virgin Gorda one of the BVI's major tourist destinations.
Nearly every publication written about Virgin Gorda will emphasize the need to visit "The Baths" – don't miss it! SeaDream generally arrives early and anchor's off Spanish Town to give guests an early start to view the baths before all of the tourists arrive from the neighboring Islands. You may also consider excellent Scuba Diving options or an opportunity to swim with the dolphins. After our short "technical stop" to dispatch land adventures and clearance with the officials. SeaDream navigates scenically up the coast and arrives to North Sound to anchor just off the Bitter End Yacht Club. Here we offer water sports, land adventures, hiking options with the officers and tenders to the Bitter End! Depending on the voyage, you may also visit Prickly Pear Island for another signature Champagne and Caviar Splash option with an incredible setting.
Anegada, British Virgin Islands - December 11, 2014
Named Anegada or the "Drowned Land" by the Spanish, Anegada is the only coral island in the Virgin Islands' volcanic chain, featuring many secluded beaches. Striking coral reefs surround the island, including the Eastern Caribbean's third largest continuous reef, Horseshoe Reef.
Anegada is the northernmost of the British Virgin Islands. It can be tricky to navigate too due to the shallow depths and various reefs upon arrival. While the other islands in the virgin islands group are mountainous, Anegada is flat. The highest point is only about 28 feet (8.5 m) above sea level. Anegada is the second largest of the British Virgin Islands, but it is also the most sparsely populated of the main islands (population roughly 200). The 18 mile long Horseshoe Reef happens to be the largest barrier coral reef in the Caribbean and believed to be the 4th largest on Earth. SeaDream guests can try bone fishing or take the shuttle to a magnificent beach called Cow Wreck. Perhaps an officer can lead a bike ride around the island or directly to one of the beautiful beaches. One thing not to miss is a freshly prepared lobster at one of the local venues steps away from the pier.
White Bay, Jost van Dyke, British Virgin Islands - December 12, 2014
Jost van Dyke, four miles long, is truly the "barefoot" island known by travelers around the world for its casual lifestyle, protected anchorages, fine beaches and beachfront restaurants and bars. The BVI's barefoot island and home of the painkiller. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. This is another SeaDream destination where you may be served Champagne and Caviar in the surf followed by an amazing BBQ Luncheon. A hike is always offered to guests to visit the famous Foxy's Bar at Great Harbour (hopefully the boutique is open) or you can stroll a few meters down the beach to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkel equipment is provided as well as some of our water toys!
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands - December 13, 2014 Disembarkation is at 10:00 AM
