We’re of the opinion that Iceland has to be seen to be believed. On your Iceland cruise, we take you to the charming town of Isafjordur, where the surrounding peaks and the dark waters of the fjord are like something from a Nordic myth. We also take you to Reykjavik, Iceland's creative and cosmopolitan capital.
Around 40 minutes from Reykjavik, The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland's most popular and well-known attractions. Stepping into this lava field is like stepping into a fairy-tale. Bathing in the warm blue-green water, between the plumes of steam and surrounded by Iceland’s rugged wilderness is an unforgettable experience.
Your Iceland cruise is the ideal time to catch sight of some of the world's largest and most mysterious animals: whales. For the best chance, look from the top deck as we enter Akureyri or head up to the bay when we dock.

Day 1, Day 11 - Dublin, Ireland
Birthplace to a host of renowned writers such as Oscar Wilde and W.B Yeats, Dublin, the friendly Irish capital is literally steeped in culture. But it’s just as famous for ‘black nectar’ – Guinness. Most of the city's 18th century buildings have been restored, taking you back to bygone days. Explore monastic ruins and estates and shop for woolens and other local wares. For a closer look at Ireland's most famous export, visit Irish Whiskey Corner. This 90-year-old warehouse flat has been converted into a museum, featuring a presentation about the making of Irish Whiskey. Visitors receive a complimentary tasting.
Day 2 - Glasgow (Greenock), Scotland
Set against a backdrop of exceptional Victorian architecture, Glasgow treats you to a unique blend of nightlife, fantastic shopping and pubs. No visit to Scotland is complete without a dram of whisky. Although historically a working class city, Glasgow is now home to a thriving arts and cultural community. There are many museums and galleries to choose from, including the recently reopened Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum. These, combined with beautifully restored Victorian architecture and the revived River Clyde (which is a nod to the city's maritime heritage) have set the pace for Glasgow's heady cultural evolution.
Days 3, 7, 8 - Fun Day at Sea
Sit back, kick off your shoes and put your feet up during our 'at sea' days, where you can chill in the bar, lounge by the pool or enjoy a relaxing beauty treatment in the spa. For simple pleasures, why not try a game of table tennis? Or if you’re feeling energetic, now’s the chance to explore all the amazing activities the ship has to offer, from spectacular, West-End-style entertainment to adrenalin-charged sports.
Days 4 & 5 - Reykjavik, Iceland
celand’s epic landscape defies description. The greenest of valleys. The blackest of beaches. The bluest of geothermal springs. Still-warm lava fields. Reykjavik is known for brightly coloured roofs, vibrant cafés and boutiques. For an exciting sea adventure, visitors to Reykjavík are encouraged to try one of the many whale watching tours that operate along the harbour. The Blue Lagoon is probably the most recognizable feature of what Iceland has to offer visitors. A trip to Reykjavík would not be complete without a trip to the pools, which are open all year round.
Day 6 - Akureyri, Iceland
Although only 100km from the Arctic Circle, a warm microclimate allows for the world’s most northerly botanical garden in Akureyi, filled with exotic plants. Whale-watching opportunities abound here, so bring your binoculars! Akureyri were the sandbanks that projected into the harbour; in earlier times there were no fewer than five of those. Four have now disappeared, however, owing to the diligence of the Akureyri people in reclaiming land from the sea. The northernmost one, Oddeyri Point, is still in place, though, and a clear landmark in the town. It was in the inner harbour, in the safe shelter of Oddeyri Point, that the merchants of earlier times preferred have their ships lie at anchor.
Day 9 - Belfast, Northern Ireland
Belfast has undergone an enormous transformation in recent years and, thanks to a focus on expansion and regeneration, the city is now experiencing a tourism renaissance. Today, free from the mayhem that once was, this capital city of Northern Ireland has done a terrific job in both recovering from her tumultuous recent past and creating a thriving, positive public image. With new cultural quarters—the Cathedral Quarter, the Gaeltacht Quarter, the Queen’s Quarter and the Titanic Quarter—the former linen and shipbuilding epicenter is a flourishing community that blends industry with culture.
Day 10 - Cork (Cobh), Ireland
Navigate Cork's hilly streets and discover the melody of Ireland's most talkative citizenry, who have a way of making conversation. Visit local artisans and witness their skills in weaving and cutting crystal. The magnificent Cobh Harbor is just a short drive from Cork. An enchanting place, the main district of Cork sits on an island formed by the diverging channels of the River Lee. The city itself is filled with a multitude of picturesque quays and bridges. Cork is the ideal spot to outfit yourself with Irish tweeds, kiss the Blarney Stone or simply relax and enjoy the charming countryside.
